Neck Lift
One of the first signs of aging can be seen with skin laxity and changes in the neck.
What is a Necklift?
A necklift is a cosmetic surgical procedure that aims to improve the appearance of the neck and jawline by removing excess skin and fat, tightening loose muscles, and smoothing out wrinkles and sagging skin. The procedure is typically performed under anesthesia and involves making hidden incisions to access the underlying tissues. Dr. Klimczak will then lift and reposition the muscles and tissues of the neck, removing any excess skin and fat before closing the incisions. The result is a smoother, firmer, and more youthful-looking neck and jawline.
Necklifts can be performed as a standalone procedure or in combination with other cosmetic surgeries such as facelifts or eyelid surgery.
Am I a Candidate for a Necklift?
Good candidates for a necklift are typically men or women who are bothered by sagging or loose skin, excess fat, and muscle banding in the neck area, which may be due to aging, genetics, or weight loss. Every patient is different and the approach for neck rejuvenation will be fully evaluated and discussed with you by Dr. Klimczak. Factors such as your age, skin elasticity, and overall facial structure are taken into account to determine the best approach to achieve your desired results.
