Minimally Invasive Necklift

What is a Minimally invasive Necklift?

A minimally invasive necklift is a cosmetic treatment that aims to rejuvenate the appearance of the neck without the need for surgery. Unlike a surgical necklift, which involves the removal of excess skin and tissue, a nonsurgical facelift typically involves the use of minimally invasive techniques such as radiofrequency, neck liposuction and platysmaplasty to improve skin texture, reduce wrinkles, and restore volume to the face.

How is it performed?

FaceTite™ is a totally non-surgical, sub-dermal procedure that uses radiofrequency to tighten loose skin around the face and jawline. It is a type of non-surgical facelift that is designed to produce similar results to a surgical facelift, but without the need for large incisions or anesthesia.

During the nonsurgical necklift Dr. Klimczak first starts with submental and neck liposuction. A small incision is made under the chin or behind the ears, and a thin, hollow tube called a cannula is inserted into the fat layer of the neck. The cannula is connected to a vacuum-like device, which sucks out the excess fat that causes neck fullness. In certain patients a platysmaplasty to resuspend the “banding” in the front of the neck is performed through the same incision.

Next begins the FaceTite procedure. Using a small cannula is inserted under the skin through tiny incisions. The cannula delivers RF energy to the skin, which heats and tightens the underlying tissue. The device also has a built-in safety mechanism that measures the temperature of the skin to ensure that it does not get too hot and cause damage.

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and typically takes around one to two hours to complete.

What is the recovery?

Patients may experience some mild discomfort and swelling after the procedure, but this usually resolves within a few days. Results are typically visible immediately and continue to improve over the following weeks and months as the skin's collagen production is stimulated.  A nonsurgical necklift is a good option for individuals who want to achieve a more youthful and lifted appearance without undergoing surgery. However, it is important to note that the results of a nonsurgical necklift are not as dramatic as those of a surgical face and necklift and may not be suitable for individuals with significant skin laxity or excess skin. A consultation with a qualified cosmetic surgeon such as Dr. Klimczak is necessary to determine if the nonsurgical necklift is the right treatment option for a particular individual.

<inimally invasive necklifts are often less expensive and require less downtime than surgical facelifts, making them a popular choice for individuals who want to rejuvenate their appearance without undergoing a full surgery. However, it's important to note that the results of nonsurgical facelift treatments may require ongoing maintenance and apply to particular patients who are the best candidates to maintain the desired look. Dr. Klimczak will evaluate and tailor your treatment plan so you have the best possible results.
